Birth of Tragey nitro pour yesterday at the brewery was one of the best drinking experiences I've had.
The bourbon barrel and coffee were so much more pronounced than out of the bottle.
It was really a nice treat! I could have sipped that 4oz for hours.

That sounds ****** wild. I can't even imagine how awesome the mouthfeel must be.

I had a '14 E. a few weeks ago and it was really great, easily the best it was ever drinking for me personally.

This is one of the few HF funky beers where I preferred the fresher version (did it side-by-side with the '15), but that's probably because I love the bright fruity hop character it has fresh.

Fresh is great, too! I have found that the sweet spot for me is when the fruit and funk are completely balanced. I thought '14 Sue was delicious at release, but I had one a year ago and it was like some kind of magical tropical cheese. Just absolutely perfect for my tastes. I opened another a couple of months ago and the fruit was far more subdued, still very good but I wish I had opened it a year ago.

Barleywine ass Bill!

This one time I left my wallet at Bill's house, and when I went back to pick it up, he sent me home with a bottle of Carleywine. Now, having experienced the pure ecstasy that is Carleywine, every time I go over there, I seriously consider leaving my wallet behind on purpose, just to see what might happen.
