Good lord, I could literally fly there, rent a car, drive to HF, hang out, drive back to airport, and fly home in that time.

Kind of ruins the fun of a road trip. With all that flying.

I prefer the ride up and back with good people (and often terrible flatulence which I could live without). I've flown up before (less than a hour from Newark) and rented a car because a friend travels a lot and got free flight/car, but the road trip is more my style. See planes taking off and landing from the NJTP. See NYC from a safe distance. See the landscape of NY state change from the Hudson valley to the mountainous north. And I take pictures every time I pass a Welcome to Vermont sign.

"If you're all about the destination,
Then, take a ******* flight.
We're going nowhere slowly,
But we're seeing all the sites.

And we're definitely going to hell,
But we'll have all the best stories to tell."
(Frank Turner)

Cheers either way.

- Joe

M&C 1 is tasting good. Also, AutumnBeerLove was encouraging folks to buy pallets of Twilight. No limit on twilight today. Cheers

How bout that sumac brown ale LoG? Sounds... interesting

Three of us split a bottle onsite today and really enjoyed it. Picked up some citrusy brightness - I assume from the sumac? - and a little oakiness/herbal something something (I said tea).

We also weren't sure what to think given the description. But in Shaun we all trust, and I personally love sumac (spice not poison, of course).

Anyone have thoughts on Madness and Civ 6? Worth swapping a 5 for one (considering I love 5)?

I'll open one with you. iong516 speaks truth. Both delicious, but MC5 is mind blowing - especially for someone who loves Aaron, which you do.

I will report on MC7 and LoG tonight. This batch of Twilight is amazing on both nitro (tasting room) and CO2 (Parker Pie), but I'll reserve judgment on the bottles because I know I'm more sensitive than most to phenolic stuff.

axeman9182 does love Aaron indeed.

Holy crap....stay safe dude. I do find it mildly amusing that you are on a beer discussion forum at this moment :D

It's a very creative new way to entice someone into trading actually. The birthday bottle, name of kin, for a friend, and pretty much every other tactic has run its course. Now introducing the active shooter approach....

ISO CD11
FT 2007 LPG

Need to close quickly, active shooter in nearby store. Serious inquiries only. Very fair, don't ask questions.

But seriously, be safe Thevicster . I'm not sure that I would turn to TalkBeer in that situation but I guess it's a good distraction.

Never mind, just saw it on FB, but that wasn't offered to CW, or at least not yet.
