But like natejohnson mentioned, I can go pick up a sixer of Pivo for $12. Mary is a fine pilsner, but say it's $5 for 500mL like I mentioned before (which granted I have zero idea what HF may charge or what size bottles they'd package in) you're paying almost double for Mary. What does Hill charge for a 2L of Mary, currently?

yeah, definitely some good points... perhaps I'm just enamored w/ the idea and am not thinking of the price. Bottle conditioning would certainly make it more costly to produce... but it sounds delicious.

I couldn't disagree more. Most pilsners have hopping rates similar to IPAs, so I'm not sure why you think they do well in bottles for months at a time.

If a pilsner is handled properly it will definitely hold up for several months and taste relatively the same. Is 6 too high, maybe. How about 4 months.

I'm with bum732. While I wouldn't mind being able to bring back a few bottles of fresh Mary from one of my visits, I don't see why they'd be any more shelf stable than the pale ales.

How you walk away with only 6 bottles of Soigne is beyond restraint imo.

If I could defer part of paycheck into bottles of Soigne it would rival my 401k contribution.

Don't forget that 6% tax. It gets hefty when your bill goes over four figures. Haven't been over $1000 in a while but definitely would this week...

If there was any kind CT soul who is going up this week and would be able to GPIUFMB some of the saisons available I would spend a little time on my knees for them and repay the favor when I go up in 2 weekends (HF or Alchemist). Obv would pay cost and chip in gas/convenience fee.

I can handle this. PM me

This last batch of Soigné is just aight. Felt the flavor was muted compared to what I remember in the past, but its been a little while since I've had it.
