Can anyone shed some light as to why everyone is lined up at the tasting room entrance for growlers/onsite bottles and nobody is at the retail/bottles side?

Last time I was here they hadn't built the tasting room yet, so maybe that's part of it, but wanted to make sure I didn't miss something...seems a little odd that literally nobody is on the retail side at all.

Still no info on what the guest breweries are bringing...gonna be a surprise to all!

Hey all! By some miracle got my hands on a FOFA ticket for this weekend and would love to ride-share with anyone traveling up to Hill from the Boston area on Saturday morning. More than happy to split gas and supply snacks + riveting conversation. Please let me know if you're interested--can't wait!

I was thinking that, but was told by folks in line that it was because the growler line gets backed up quick. Got growlers first and checked on onsite bottles. They have Vera Mae 13/14/15, Elab 5 and Saison Bernice for $30 (what we're sipping on now). Didn't see how many Bernice bottles there were but looks like there is plenty of everything else.

Didn't realize that the retail line would be so fast and separated from everything else. I got 8 fills and it was very quick. Loaded that and 12 cases of bottles into our little car and finally we are relaxing with a beer!

Also--just looking for a one-way ride up! Meeting some friends at FOFA who are driving up from Boston on Friday and back with them on Sunday. Cheers!

A real live girl? On a neckbeard forum? hoo boy. Would pay good money to see the messages about to come pouring in.

I'm missing FoFA for a family wedding, but need an Elab 4. Also could use a favor...if someone heading to HF this weekend could assist. Please message me if you want to help.

I can spare an Elab if you aren't already covered, but as far as the favor I've already left...

And yes trio2shine tips were touched, Elab 5 was tea-licious, and on site Sassarin eluded me once again. I've had it twice in Burlington thanks to a friend... someday I'll taste her again

Thanks! Don't sweat it, that favor is a couple growlers...I'll keep trying. Thanks anyway though, sounds like it was a great trip up there!

Riwaka is amazing.
Yes, perhaps my favorite pale ale of all time.

Re: their efficiency, over the last few trips I've experienced a new form of stress--missing my number being called because I've stepped outside for a minute. They are so fast now. (And, no worries... If you miss your number, they serve you next.)

Anyone heading to HF on Sat. want to give my wife and I a ride? We have a car, but no DD. Happy to meet up or you can pick us up at Fairfield Inn & Suites Waterbury Stowe. Will trade these for the ride to and from:

Carton - Sakura (Cherry Blossom Salted Sour Ale)
Magnify - Peak of Ripeness (Nelson IPA)
Magnify - Woah Citra (Citra Double IPA)
Magnify - Uncharted Territory (Oak Fermented IPL - Citra, Huell Melon, Hallertau)

PM if you can help out!
