Looks like a new beer available for on-site today:

  • Madness & Reason #1 (Nitro): Base - Imperial Stout. Additions - Vanilla, Cinnamon, Cocoa Nibs and Chipotle. 4oz Serving
Looking forward to this tomorrow.

Also glad there's no hyped bottle release (don't think dry-hopped Arthur really counts). It's my first time visiting the new tasting room and was hoping for a chill atmosphere

Unless its Art (which likely won't ever happen again), you don't have to worry really anymore about the atmosphere around "hyped" releases. I went up first day of the GoM release this year and it was completely laid back. Got there 40 minutes before open and was 3rd in line.

2-2015 Arthur is fan-fuckingtastic. A great beer for 90+ degree weather. Lemon, funk & refreshment for days.

an hour is definitely a long time for them... never felt they took long but I'm usually chilling with a beer and some wings and not in a rush....

07/16/2015 Florence (stainless aged) is drinking quite nicely, but I don't feel like it's changed too much from when it was fresher. Definitely more of a "classic" saison profile here compared to the distinctive HF lemon/funk deal that Arthur and Anna show off so well.

what's the cheese lineup look like for this week?

I've got a question for anyone with FoFa experience. Does anyone know if the retail store will be open that day?

I happen to be in VT for a wedding that weekend and would love to stop by and snag some bottles.

Friday before FoFA had bottles and growler sales. I believe bottles available were Vera Mae (2pp), Clara, Dorothy, Stainless Florence and maple syrup.

I thought I remember the Saturday of FoFA retail was open for bottle purchases only (no growlers or onsite pours) but I think it was only open in the morning before the fest started, maybe 10:30-12ish?

If special bottles like Ann are available for on site, are they on the menu or do you have to ask?
