This is actually a solid idea, but it would need to be a permanent marker or something that can't be removed or washed off.

And mark hands once bottles are purchased so people can't go through the line again.

Cattle brands or GTFO

The S is for Shitlord

Where was this shitshow? I mean, I was there, where was the shitshow?
Gotta agree. Was there at 11, long line for bottles, long wait for drafts, longer wait for growlers. Still waaaaay better then 2014 times, and lines were no where near TH levels. In no way a **** show for a customer.... busy for staff, but they are great.

Gotta love the SARA bottle release model. Announce it minutes before you open. Doesn't give the ass hats time to plan and gives the locals time to get bottles before all hell breaks loose. Obviously a much smaller scale than HF, but HF is also far more rural than SARA. No system is perfect, but the unannounced method seems like a no-brainer.

You're right. No brains.

Didn't you read the thread a few months ago? nobody here is interested in still art. Just give it all to me :D

hey! I even had a twitter back and fourth with Shaun a long time ago about purposely releasing a still beer...

this one and the new batch of Ann still evade me...

NEBCO used to do this and got crucified by shitlords who lived "too far away", aka like 30 minutes...

That wouldn't prevent the second day shitshow.

See now this is a real suggestion we will consider. Others should take note.

You guys should do it like Ticketmaster outlets used to:

Announce you're handing out tickets at 11:00. If there are 100 people there, number them 1-100. At 11:30 you draw a number. Let's say 55 is drawn. Line goes 55-100 then 1-54. Everyone who shows up after 11:00 is first come behind them.

Takes away the incentive to show up early. You have just as much shot of being first in line whether you arrive at 5:00 or 10:59.
