This guy started an account and the exact same thread on ratebeer yesterday. I think he's just trying to get people to pay to ship him aluminum for scrap metal, because he won't pay for shipping.

Glad i read through it before it was nuked. What a gem. That guy must have been smoking some pretty dank crack. "get you and some buddies to pitch in for shipping". GTFO

I gotta imagine if HF had started with a limit of 1pp for Art at the time of the announcement, and not dropped it on a week when GoM and Farmer Wave were still available, Wednesday would've been much less redonkulous.

Shaun obviously knows what he's doing when it comes to releases (this has to have been the biggest **** show since DB Damon), but I don't understand why all breweries just don't make everything 1 per person and then adjust the limit up depending on the crowd.

I heard from a buddy that Shaun was down in Philly for the CBC (seen at Fountain Porter), rather than bothering w/ said **** show. Haha.

I heard that Shaun actually made some art in honor of Art day and it went underneath some of the Art labels and it's kind of like a Willy Wonka golden ticket. People who pre-traded are going to be salty when their trade partners are all up in the brewery stealing fizzy lifting saisons and ****. Suckers!

Because then we would be swamped with people complaining that someone on wedensday got 3 bottles yet on thursday they only got 1 bottle and then friday they got 2. Beer nerds will never be happy no matter how things are set up as most are just entitled as fuuuuck.

agree... imo should be 1 pp the whole time, lottery, or on site only...

I don't know what's going on here, but I like it.

Hand out wrist bands to everyone who lined up before like 10am and then SUPRISE!! don't let those people buy beer. Also record reactions and play on the projector in the tap room every once in a while... just for posterity's sake
See now this is a real suggestion we will consider. Others should take note.

Following this style of release, to see the number of people hiding across fields, behind trees, around corners, over hills, etc. until 10am, and the ensuing Hunger Games mad dash to the door... would be so awesome.

This is actually a solid idea, but it would need to be a permanent marker or something that can't be removed or washed off.

And mark hands once bottles are purchased so people can't go through the line again.

I fear a stabbing is far too probable already without the introduction of blood sport...
