Why would they not make Sarrasin again when Shaun said it was one of his favorite beers that he's made? And keep making La Vermentoise?

Anyone else intrigue by this one: Assemblage No.4 (sour blend with seabuckthorns)

LA Vermentoise is made by Blaugies not HF. There is no way to make Sarrasin. Lots of things happened to make that beer what it was and most of them are not things you can really recreate. Sometimes you catch lighting in the bottle.

Had an awesome weekend overall. The weather and the good company combined with a whole lot of great beer to form maybe the best beer event I've ever attended. Can't wait for next year.

fofa was a blast. being and time, sarrasin, anna '13 and mercy mercy were my highlights. weather was perfect. nice meeting some of you dudes

Quite the weekend... Have I mentioned how much I love VT? I decided to donate all my organs to the state. Left some behind this weekend.

The Festival was once again a top notch event. Enjoyed seeing so many of my favorite people meeting just as many new folks.

Agreed with this. Thought magic Anna and that batch of soigné were the sleepers for sure. Being and time, my goodness...

Such an awesome weekend, one of my favourites ever. So many great new ticks including two of my most-wanteds in Gene and oldp0rt. Everyone was awesome and the beer was pretty good too. Sarrasin, Being & Time, Magic Anna, and FdF were the festival highlights for me. Had a really nice conversation with Shaun on Friday which I enjoyed a lot. The whole thing was really cool and I can't wait to do it again next year.

Big thanks to Gene, MKtheGeneral, OsLovesBeer, DonFrap, Ben, and company for the great time at Shitlord Manor last night!

i probably drank 10 pours of magic anna. so so good. cd6 was kinda harsh.

fdf was too acidic but it was solid. i drank no CS beers whatsoever.

Heard the Vera and Oude Camino kegs were damaged. Not much you can do about that. Never heard what happened with cd 4. There was no shortage of incredible beer to drink either way

i heard they were over carbed which definitely sucks but they could have brought out something, especially after extending the fest a half hour
