WoL 2 looks like it might be sooner than later. I was hoping not to make any trips up before FoFA with optimism it might release then, but it sounds like there may be a conflict of interest between now and then.

Last I checked there was some reason to believe 2 was the SARA collaboration, but I don't know where I saw that.

I am curious- was this beer not once advertised as also being a Tired Hands collaboration? Is it this beer?
Either way it sounds appealing.

Just catching up on this thread. "TM" is a way to prevent infringement from companies in HF's immediate area. It has no federal sway as far as I know. I can't think of any other breweries in VT that would be in violation of this right now, so unless HF start issuing cease and desist letters around their home turf (which I really doubt) it's just a way for them to protect themselves from people starting up there with the intention of riding HF's coattails. That's something I'm actually shocked no one has tried yet. Maybe it doesn't jive with HF's image, but it's good business practice and you can't really fault them for that.

flying to Burlington is like $620, but a long ass layover in Newark the equivalent of the 6 hour car ride.

If you were going to do it up I'd fly into Boston rent car. Hit up Trillium/tree house/up to Maine for Allagash/foundation/Bissell/New Hampshire?/VT HF, Waterbury for Alchemist and other goodies Fiddle head etc back to Boston to fly home. Do it non summer. VT in the summer isn't best for first time. I'd shoot for sept-ealry November. That's just me tho

oh I know how good I have it... and wonder how I'd be if I had to choose giving it up. I enjoy my trips up... it is actually an escape and I get to see all the friends I've made up there...

that said, it's still a long and tiring drive... it still requires me to take days off sometimes and it still costs me a lot of money to travel...

it just seems like when I talk to someone about how lucky they are to be local to a place and they complain that it might be an hour away... then people turn around and tell me "well you have HF close by"... oh nononono....haha
