Mt hunger if you want to avoid a plethora of people at the top.

Reasonably short but lots of elevation change.

Could also head into the NEK, plenty of spots up there.

A) I can't check BA
B) no, I won't blow you
i distinctively remember apologizing to you on FB and you saying that you were over it... again, to you, i apologize for my noobness at the time.. and i'm sure i'll be the only one at FoFA again this year with a Pirates hat on. Let me get you a beer.

Absolutely love these trails, have never seen anyone else hiking them before. No crazy views but lots of beautiful spots to stop and drink a heady on the stream
I camped at Little River last summer and expect to wind up back there in the near future. It's a pretty great campground and while I didn't get on any of the trails that's definitely on the agenda for the next trip. The lake itself is fantastic and was stunningly warm when I was there in July.

site #27 though... ;)

I mean it's no flora b5 in it's prime but you know :p

But srsly Ann is bottom of my preference list, art b3 is probably at the top at the moment. And kismet is my favorite brunch spot.

COME AT ME BRO
Bourbon Bloody Mary>Art B3>Flora B5

How about a fruited flora ranking....
plum>satsuma>blue>black/blue

Satsuma > Blueberry (Had it 2 months ago..enjoyed it throughly) >>>>>>>>> Black/Blue .. haven't had plum yet.

Why does it seem Black/Blue isn't liked (at least not to the same degree) as other Flora variants? I found it to be extremely refined and balanced, dry as hell with the fruit being extremely subtle. I loved the beer and would rank it 1 or 2 in regards to Flora Variants. Interested in hearing what some of the dislikes are.

It didn't have any of the complexity or funk I associate with Flora. Just acid and some fruitiness. If you had told me it was a Berliner, I'd have believed you.

Tasted more like a cross between lambic and a wild ale/sour to me.... Feta Cheese Funk....

Satsuma is the only variant I've had but it was definitely a top 5 fruited AWA for me. Soft, delicate mandarin with dat flawless Flora base, really looking forward to getting to try Flora Plum.

I've only had Black/Blue, but it was so much worse than Flora that I hope it isn't the best fruited variant.

Non of the variants (except maybe plum which I haven't tried yet) have been as good as Flora.

It's not. I hope he meant those as arrows, not greater than signs.

B/b was the only one so far that I enjoyed nearly as much as Flora (b5). I'd take any of the variants over b6, but my variant ranking remains the same. I drank 4 bottles of satsuma since release and never got any fruit out of it. Blueberry was flat and with little to no blueberry flavor to speak of both times I tried it. I think the reason b/b isn't regarded as highly simply is because it isn't perceived as rare due to the high initial limit.

To be clear these are just my opinions, no offense meant to anyone.

Not to derail the thread again (OK yes to derail it again, but only briefly), what are a couple great hiking spots in the area? Within a reasonable drive is OK.

Mt Mansfield is relatively close. Pretty sure that's the highest peak in the green mountains, lots of trails to hike

this, specifically google Sterling Pond Trail. it's a fairly rapid ascent (1,000 feet) in just about 1 mile, but the payoff at the top is amazeballs. just awesome

Yeah YMMV, and my opinion of B/B may be hindered by having right before Plum, but wasn't even close to me. My memory of Satsuma (and Untappd score that I gave it) put it pretty clear of B/B, too. B/B seemed muddy and the fruit didn't shine. Others that shared bottle complained of medicinal flavors probably from the fruit skins.

I think it's really good but just that it's kind of one-dimensional, especially in comparison to Blueberry with some age. Plum was similarly more straightforwardly sour vs Blueberry too, but I still found it more complex and enjoyable than B/B.

One thing is clear: Flora B5 is the greatest.
