I've always found it odd that there are HF beers labeled as farmhouse and as farmstead. With Hill's seemingly strict perspective on semantics, I'm assuming there's a reason for the distinction. I'd like to know what it is, purely out of curiosity.

Not sure if this is actually the reason, but my understanding has always been that they just use up the last batch of labels (a la De Cam) before moving on to the next one - which has led to what appear to be some oddities at times. But I would imagine Dorothy and the new Arthur labels have been printed pretty recently, soooo I dunno.

FoFA is always such a letdown. I don't think anyone should even bother trying to get tickets. No one goes there anymore, it's too crowded. Besides, it always rains for HF fests. ALWAYS. Who wants to deal with that ****?! Trust me: don't bother.

Thanks! I thought someone in this thread said that it fell off a bit since it's release, but I'm glad that isn't the case.
There are a ton of complex proteins in buckwheat that take more time to break down than those found in other malts/adjuncts. I had one recently and it's gueuze-like now. It'll keep kicking for awhile.
