On another subject, how's this latest batch of Dorothy? All brett and Citra dry hopped sounds pretty great to me.
It's a lot better than the previous batches by miles. No more chalk. Still not something I'd buy much of.

I understand the need for the new policy, but I'm not sure it solves the problem. People will continue bringing as.many mules as they can. And not sure how they work it out to enforce it, guess that remains to be seen.

It WILL effect people like me who they personally know by sight and interact with, but dems the breaks. :)

Looks like it will be easier and cheaper for me to fly out to HF to get a sp

i think the new policy will increase the mule process. As far an enforcing the rules, I wouldn;t be surprised if they used some sort of ID software. TBH, I am surprised breweries haven't gone that route yet. Could be used as a valuable tool.

You can't really control unique people in line. If they're standing there, who wants to go through the trouble of quizzing them on their intentions? If they're noticing a lot of people showing up on back-to-back days, now there is something you can impact if you care to.

I have a hard time believing this will increase muling. If someone wasn't going to join you for the ride before, appealing to this policy probably won't make much difference.

Oh well now the neckbeards are i am going to lose their my ******* minds

people don't really do that right?

Jester King just had this issue at their last release along with other trickery from people:
http://jesterkingbrewery.com/on-the-montmorency-vs-balaton-blend-2-release

"One downside to the release were the people who chose to ignore our one bottle per customer per day limit. The limit is designed to boost access to our beer, and the people who violated it deprived others of the chance to purchase. We managed to stop several people throughout the course of the weekend who attempted to go through the Montmorency vs Balaton line multiple times. However, other people were successful in breaking the limit. Certain individuals managed to go through the line more than once by removing the ink stamp applied to each customer’s hand upon purchasing a bottle and/or by using disguises to fool our staff."

while i think this new rule is good for them, in turn it just hurts those coming from afar and staying overnight. This clearly will just up the mule game and who can fill the clown car and roll up on a 1 day trip.

Why, because you cant max out on limited bottles two days in a row? Personally I will be happy with the allotment I get and will certainly go back the next day and get more growlers. Half the reason they probaly did this is exactly due to the fact that people went up for Flora B/B and then went back the next day again with said mules and cleaned house. If I went up with my wife and we went Wednesday and Thursday and maxed out limits we would have walked away with 16 bottles. I certainly don't feel slighted or hurt by the new change. It is what it is.

Correction: 12 bottles as limits were dropped to 2/per on Thursday.

Maybe it's the age old "I drove further so I'm entitled more than the person who had a short ride" argument?

It really depends on what the limits will be for the limited offerings - 4 bottle limit of Flora B/B, lasting through the weekend? Probably worth it for the hardcores who drive 6+ hours for bottles. 1 bottle limit of Flora B/B, lasting through the weekend? Might as well stay home.
