Didn't SS5 just come on recently? SS6 was on for a while (went on at the same time as the Flora release) but only kicked not long ago.
I'm not 100% sure, you could be right. I know ss5 and ss6 were on at the same time for awhile so I might have mixed them up.

Today marks 3 week since SS5 went on. Happened to be added a day I went, 1/14.

Hill Farmstead posted a press release of sorts regarding their #1 place finish in the RateBeer awards. It's like they are straight-up trolling SeaWatchman:

"Greensboro Bend, Vt. (January 30, 2015) - Hill Farmstead Brewery has been named 2015 Best Brewery in the World, as well as Best Brewery in the United States and Vermont, by RateBeer, the world’s largest, most popular beer review and rating website. This is the second year in the past three that the brewery has been honored as Best Brewery in the World, United States and Vermont. Seven of its beers were listed in the top 100 beers in the world by RateBeer, and six of its beers were honored in the Top 50 New Releases in the World. Its secondary brand, Grassroots Brewing, received two nods in the best beers in the world category, as well as two mentions in the Top 50 New Releases of 2015.

The RateBeer awards are determined solely by the reviews of RateBeer’s millions of active members. RateBeer is home to the most experienced beer critics in the world with more than100 master beer tasters having over 5,000 documented beer reviews. RateBeer is also home to countless certified cicerones, GABF, GBBF and BJCP judges.

Hill Farmstead Brewery is grateful for the overwhelmingly positive support of the beer community, its members and our loyal fans. We look forward to continuing our work of providing the best beer in the world."

It's ok, I am persona non grata at both HF and RB so I'm cool with that. I'll just keep updating the coolest beer site ever.

Heads up to anyone heading up to HF tomorrow by way of the western part of VT, we're getting hit with another storm tonite/tomorrow, so plan accordingly

(While this isn't necessarily HF related, it is SeaWatchman related, which makes it HF related, right?)

Rolling Stone is reporting that Harper Lee was moved to write her first novel since To Kill a Mockingbird--published 50 years ago--as a long love letter our very own SeaWatchman. In the book, she supports every crazy opinion he has ever shared. Look no further than the title, Go Set a Watchman.

Someone posted somewhere (maybe not on this site) to bring extra wiper fluid... Dude wasn't kidding, I'm on my third gallon and I'm still in VT. Literally had to pull over and clean windshield by hand at one point because I couslnt see and was out of fluid.

HF was just about as dead as I've ever seen it today. In and out pretty fast even with five growlers

Is it because it's snowing, so salt is applied, which turns into salty spray? Should be clear and cold tomorrow so I'm hoping it's not as grimy out

Not snowing at all. Just heavy salt down. Roads are actually really good. Southern New Hampshire was far and away the worst roads on my trip.

On the ride home yesterday I had to pull over twice and use snow to clear my windshield.

Yesterday Rt 100 from Waterbury to Hardwick was dicey in the AM, and 16 from Parker Pie to Positive Pie was pretty terrible. One past Positive Pie (going straight to Montpelier), it was pretty much perfect the rest of the way though.
