Don't worry, everybody at FoFA hated him as well.
That's a ridiculous fruit to beer ratio. Do want.
I was just thinking that. Quetsche is like 250g/L. 500 is insane
Someone is bound to post this. Might as well be me. I ain't complaining tho. I'll still drink the **** out of Abner like it's my job.
- Abner: American Imperial Pale Ale 8.4% abv ($10/$20)
What's the issue (or non-issue) here, the cost of an Abner growler went up by 2/4? I think that's about 1% of the cost it would take me to drive there just counting gas and nothing else.
Zero *****. I'm just glad you can get a 2L fill! Worked my way through a 2L of Abner a time or two. Fun times. The next day, not as fun.Someone is bound to post this. Might as well be me. I ain't complaining tho. I'll still drink the **** out of Abner like it's my job.

This bugs me a lot less than the last time I went and Abner was completely limited to 750s. I'm happy to pay a couple of bucks more if it means I'm stll able to purchase full growlers of it.Non-Issue, but figured someone would complain about it, then a debate ensues, then people come to the realization that it really isn't an issue and we all go along our merry way til something new gets released to change the subject
First price increase on IPAs or regular saison ever? Other than that batch of Convivial that was $12? No worries, still works for me. Interesting to see they raised the price, but like you said, no big deal.
Oh, Yeah, Credit Card fees. That absolutely makes sense to raise prices slightly. (not sarcasm)They started adding tax, instead of including it, when they started taking CC's a few months ago.
So 2nd price increase, but Abner, so yea, $2 ain't stopping anyone.

Back to the FIB thread please.
Considering VT tax is ~9% and CC fees are <3% and the fact that you can still use cash, it is a price increase.
Not complaining, it is a fact. I'm sure they do significantly more sales due to accepting cards, I know I spend more everytime than I did in the cash only days.

I believe Abner was raised to $10 for a 750ml over the summer and would be on par with all DIPA that are offered.
I believe this is right. I basically freebased 750ml fills of SS#5 last time around and those were $10 at that point.I thought their DIPAs (Abner/S&S/DC/DG) were always $10 for a 750ml fill (exception being Ephraim which was $11 or $12). I believe the only change is in the 2L price from $18 to $20. I could be wrong, but in my head a 750 of any DIPA has always been $13 (glass+beer). Not looking to start an argument, just making sure I'm not going crazy.
Abner was and has been $10/$18 as long ago as fall 2011. This is a $2 price increase for 2L growlers. Big whoop.
Come to think of it you are right. It was over the summer that Abner was only filled in 750ml for a period of time like all of the DIPA.I thought their DIPAs (Abner/S&S/DC/DG) were always $10 for a 750ml fill (exception being Ephraim which was $11 or $12). I believe the only change is in the 2L price from $18 to $20. I could be wrong, but in my head a 750 of any DIPA has always been $13 (glass+beer). Agreed. Still shocked everything is as cheap as it is up there (relatively speaking).
I don't believe they've bottled any non saison/wild beer in a long time now... If time comes when one can get 1-2 cases of Everett bottles, well, that will be a good time
