I didn't read it like that at all! No worries. I'm not pro-kid, just love my wife.

Haha my 5 month old son has already made the trip from Boston-HF 4 times. The key is to have a VERY understanding wife.
Thank you sir!I can attest to this. Cute kid Don
So brewers who distribute their beers are wasting water, malt, yeast, and hops. That's our Shuwane!

you're trying too hard...
You guys are doing it wrong, here's the perfect plan for a Thursday afternoon:
3:00: leave work for a "Doctors Appointment"
4:30: arrive at HF, get (hopefully) unlimited growlers, chat with Kerrie and Phil, etc.
5:00ish: Go to Parker Pie
8:00: arrive home
Simple.
Actually, it's more like leave work at 11:30 for lunch & errands
Arrive at HF at 12:10 for errands
Leave HF at 12:20 w/ bottles
Eat crusty subway sandwich purchased that morning while on the way to work
Arrive back at work at 1pm.
Later that evening, sneak said bottles into basement when wifey is asleep
Later that month when asked why we don't seem to have any money these days just shrug and change the subject.
Repeat until broke or divorced...

Imagine how different the beer scene would look if it were only populated by married men with children, visiting breweries only with the blessing of very understanding wives.
I'm impressed that you can be in and out with bottles in 10 minutes. If you're doing it right that's after having your sample tasters as well!![]()
You were following me that day like a ************!!!That's what I did on Saturday for Zwanze. I don't know if bottle line is always available but there were probably 50 people in line for growlers so I walked up and waited my turn @ the bottle line, grabbed a case of Dorothy, 6 Golden Doesjel, 6 Convivial and 2 boxes of glassware (bulb + tasters) and I was out in under 5 minutes. Then went to Parker Pie for lunch and came back for Zwanze day.

Unless, you know, you want a growler. Lol*most* growler offerings are usually available in Waterbury, so there is usually no need to wait...
There were 7 on Thursday so I assume so. They had a keg of Dorothy for tasters too.Are there really 7 taps going for growler fills?
Just stay in Waterbury. Old StagecoachIm sure this has been asked a zillion times but the wife gave the green light for a trip to VT this upcoming weekend. Lodging options between Waterbury and HF, anyone?
Just stay in Waterbury. Old Stagecoach
I think old stagecoach may have a 2 night minimum, not sure what your plans are. If they do, check out the best western in Waterbury. I have never been, but heard good things.Cool, I will look it up, thanks man.

I knew it wasn't on the site and really can't remember where I heard that - guessing I either called once or read it in an online thread. Let me know what you find out, would be good to know.Nothing about a minimum on the site, going to call after lunch today. Looked at other options as well, just about everything is sold out. Thanks for the heads up though. May just stay somewhere in Winooski or something, wife is preggers so no worry about a DD.
