Also, Frank doesn't know snow...he lives in a big city. So does Dmouth. Those guys have it so good in their fancy Waterbury & Hanover.

5 years living in Johnson and spending most of my time in Eden...
:p

Roads suck right now, even rt2 was a mess as of a couple hours ago. Snow has let up at the moment but I think it's supposed to keep coming down later. I was going to go up to hill today but am staying home because I really don't want to drive 20mph the whole way up

I'm in southwest VT and we've probably got 8 to 10 inches already, and it's still snowing.

I'll be making the drive up Friday most likely, since I'll be in the area. 2wd/Rwd pickup for added sketchiness.

How's the weather up there? Frank Adam Jackson DmouthCaliBrewz?

Trying to figure out if I actually am going to drive up tomorrow. Need to take Rt 2 all the way over to Maine afterward if I do...
Pshhhhhhh y'all r trippin. Made the treck in my mini from the college (via 91 to 16) and roads were mostly fine.......mostly.......ain't no weather that's gonna stop me from gettin my CD8. But I drove up round 12:30 and once I got to the farm it started coming down

Seriously, CD8>Snowstorm. Montpelier to and back during my lunch hour(s). Roads were snow covered and only challenging north of Hardwick. Seemed to catch the trip in between squalls. Nothing else on the shelves.

I'm just hoping cd8 lasts until next week!
Agreed but it's much easier for you to make the trip up than me. Plus if I'm making the 6 hour trip from NJ, I'd prefer the bottles available are more than just a single of CD8. I'm ready to take a sick day on Weds if both Daybreak and CD8 were to be available... here's hoping...

Seemed like there was a lot less to go around for this particular CD release. Only one barrel (don't know if that's the usual quantity Shaun does of civil disobediences) this time so it's Probly gonna go quicker than expected. Get it while the gettins good dudez

Bottle numbers on the cd series vary a lot. #5 was the last single barrel release I think.

I just don't have time to make it up much this week. Maybe I'll try to get in before work tomorrow

ALERT:

Lawson's Farmer's Market this Saturday.

http://www.lawsonsfinest.blogspot.com

You know what that means. CD8 could very well sell out if it is 1 barrel. Lawson's markets bring up these droves of MA, NY and CT people who come into Vermont buying up every beer on every shelf.

You've been warned.

Edit: This assessment based on unconfirmed postings here staying a single barrel. I'm just thinking if this is a sub-500 bottle release, The next 4 days could means it sells out with Lawson's market happening.

Please be sure to purchase some veggies or get some pickled items from Gizmo or mini donuts! at the market. If you take the beer blinders off, you'll see some really good **** there. Seriously. Thanks.

Bought some ******* cheese at one last summer that was the most mind-blowing thing I've ever had (and I eat a lot of cheese). Wish I could ******* remember what it is.

Anyway, pretty sure I have convinced myself I'm doing HF tomorrow, front wheel drive and no snow tires be dammed. Anyone else gonna be there?

My wife loves flan. Seriously, if anyone likes flan, VT Flan is the best she's ever had. And hopefully the pretzel vendor is back this time.

Lets just say our gang bang recipient will be getting some market goodies.

Did you sample everything from that vendor before making the purchase? I was much entertained by Jon doing something similar at a jam/preserves lady's booth.

Then again... you'd be looking for stuff to be amused by during a two hour wait at the indoors farmer's market

I think I totes ****** up....

Bought the Damon/Madness&Civilization package. I figured it was possible to have a friend go and get it for me, but its not looking like they allow that. Does anyone know if this is possible?
