I'd guess 3 is what became Edward. Susan didn't debut for 2 and a half years after that post and early on the Hill website referred to Edward as an IPA (as in tehzachatak's second link).

The optimal troll move HF could make tomorrow would be to have a few really good bottles onsite (Ann/Flora Cuvee/Art/B&T/etc level) for the people who choose to line up there first rather than the retail shop. The gnashing of teeth resulting from that would be exceptional.

I don't think that the beer will suck, but if it's line with recent BA HF offerings it'll be good but not great (I'm looking at you Damon, Aaron, and Juicy).

I know this is a HF lovefest thread, but tylerk88 's not alone in his feelings, I thought both Damon (2016) and this latest batch of Aaron were good, not world class, life altering beers that most tout them as. Might've been my taste buds at the time, but I even felt aaron had notes of tartness to it since it had so much dark fruit going on with it.

It's beer, it's all personal preference, but give me BA expo and BCBS over Damon and straight jacket/bcbw/stickee monkee over aaron all day.
