Mud season isn't scary if you know how to drive man. Not like you'll be stuck on a road with no cell service. I mean, you could potentially do that but use your head, plan alternative routes and if your gut says you aren't gonna make through something, you probably won't. IMO you'd be foolish to cancel a trip over spring road conditions.

Batch 7. As many have said, not a ton of vanilla here, but still excellent. Definitely prefer the components (almost popped a BA Everett...) but this is still a great blend. Very little heat, nice smooth mouthfeel, and overall well done.

CD19 (ale aged in wine barrels) just went out as a CW offering this morning, so presumably the public release posts should be imminent.
On a personal note, I'm making my very first schlep out to HF next month to corral my CW allocations, but the sheer number of bottles involved, and the prospect of having to try to ship them all back to CA is giving me the willies (yeah, I know, super-first-world problems). Any East Coast TBers that know they'll be at HF on March 10th or 11th game to give me a hand with this, i.e. lug back a couple of boxes worth of bottles, the shippers to be provided by me, then mail them out with Fedex labels that I'd provide once I got back home? There's a thank-you box of beer (SARA and such) in it for you, plus my eternal gratitude (not the kind you can drink, though).

Now that I've had a week to process missing out on my first trip to HF, I finally feel ready to comment here. Dramatic yes, but not far from the truth. At least I got to tick some great beers while in town:
WOL Anchorage b2 is absolutely stellar. It's up there with CD11 as one of my all time favorites. Thanks kbhess for sharing!
Clover is good. Very good actually. But the hype made it into something better than it is. It seems like the potential for development is there but at present the "young flavors" (similar to Art b4) that I don't enjoy are prominent. Thanks DJPhresh!
CD14 is so underrated. Somehow I've had that beer 4 times in the last year and it blows me away every time. Perhaps small format? Overlapping releases? Whatever it is, people need to #neverforget CD14. Thanks jtclockwork!
Aaron b2 is kind of a mess IMO. I never had b1 so I am unable to compare but I imagine it is a shell of what is and once was. Until I tick Aaron b1 I may never know for sure but Brew1000 is GOAT for me. Thanks again DJPhresh!
