Will this last until the second weekend?
With case and 4per limits I'd think so...

Twilight of the Idols is our winter porter. We brew Twilight each autumn, with a touch of locally roasted coffee and cinnamon, and age it on a blend of select vanilla beans. Originally conceived with a friend in 2009 while brewing in Denmark, the name of this annual release is inspired by the title of the last texts written by one of our philosophical idols, Friedrich Nietzche. 7.2% abv
It's also on the GoM:Kieni (think someone pointed that out earlier) so maybe it's gonna pop up on anything with coffee in it?I wonder if maybe that language is a general guideline that might not be intended for just this specific beer. Seems like HF is among a large number of breweries have had a lot of complaints, questions and the like about aging beer. Sometimes boilerplate language like this might help deflect those questions or at least simplify answering. It implies that if you store beer long term, that is on you and not the brewer's specific intentions or suggestion.
Mike Sardina is a lawyer as well as a brewer, maybe he is helping out with some of this stuff up there.

Birth of Tragedy Our lawyers recommend that this beer be consumed within six months.
Common side effects are gastrointestinal issues, including nausea, constipation and diarrhea. Other common aftereffects include shitlordery, razzles and mbc
This conversation is slowly inching towards a new tagline for TalkBeer.FTFY
Finally made the Vermont pilgrimage and decided to take everyone's advice and stay at the Old Stagecoach. Glad I went with this place, not only is it a stone's throw from the bars, but the breakfast is absolutely phenomenal. The food alone is worth the stay.
Yea, I suspect this is going to be printed on most special releases going forward. The guys at Hill obviously know their beers will generally keep well for quite a while when stored properly......they just don't have faith that people will actually store them properly.I wonder if maybe that language is a general guideline that might not be intended for just this specific beer. missing the NEK... I need a trip up soon
That 2015 Sankt Hans is still flat as a pancake. First and likely only HF drainpour I've ever had. The Dorothy I had instead was carbed like champagne. Crazy how different they were.

It's a saison, not a stout. I do in fact care about carb. It didn't taste good, let alone great. My wife agreed.Who cares about carb? Still tastes great
Pick you up in mid-December?
Thinking about a trip between end of classes and Christmas, but nothing set in stone yet.
I had the pleasure of chatting with him on the deck 1 day there. Awesome story teller and great guy !Know someone who like WWII stuff? Staying at the Stagecoach? The old man has written not one, but two books about his time in the service. Support the old man and buy one of his books. Maybe even have a bourbon and listen to one of his stories...
I've had pours from two bottles of that SH batch. I enjoyed both a good deal and both were very flat. I'd absolutely enjoy it with some decent carbonation, but the taste is still enjoyable as is.I would enjoy SH with more carb, but I thought it was tasty as hell flat too. Flat Ete was the same, delicious but still would have been far better with carbonation.
I'll be up in early December but think I need a trip up this month... been too long
If Tragedy is still available next week, I may head up immediately after work/voting on Tuesday.
