Can anyone put together a big list of beers that were there so I can live through you? I went last year and was 0/6 this time.
Congrats! Enjoy it!What a great weekend with a bunch of fine folk. Winning the WOL magnum was pretty chill too.

40clAnyone know what the volume is on the glasses? Can't tell from pics if the glass is small or hands are fat.
This year's FoFa was the strongest example I have ever seen for the magnetism of rarity and "releases" (and the associated social influence factors). Side Project's line had literally half the attendees for almost the entire time they were pouring. Flora BBR and Sarrasin both cultivated similar lines.
I laughed to myself that the huge line size distinctions were like a parallel to "trade value", maybe with a hint of FOMO about releases baked in. All the beers at the festival were between good and amazing and the line size for certain beers seemed like an assignment of being worth the wait because those beers were more exclusive.
Not a knock on those waiting at all, just an observation I had. Most beers were available for a lot of the day and it made sense to get the rarer ones while the getting was good for those patient enough. We missed out on Tete because we decided to hop around and hit the other beers we were excited about instead of jumping in the SP line initially. (We were OK with that and quite content, although I am sure it is great)
It was a great festival... loved seeing so many of you once again... and meeting so many more of you... also happy to now find out that TBers won those 2 mags... congrats guys
Also, Friday at Parker was amazing... really loved getting to chat with so many people and drink great beer...
beer-wise... I don't want to even begin to try and list or rank anything... but some things that stood out
HF - Vera Mae 16 and BA Dorothy (those 13 batches of Soigne were amazing too)
TH - that THBCBC was delicious
SARA - Capitola Sunset and the We Are U collab were nothing short of spectacular
JK - spontaneous blend... wow, this really stood out to me... so much going on but so well balanced... probably my favorite attempt at an American gueuze style blend yet
CS - Surrette w/ Peach.. wow, I can say this might be my favorite CS beer so far
Oxbow - Moloko... first time trying it... did not fall short of expectations
the Tome and De La Senne were dope...
wish I got to try some SP but like others, I avoided that line...
food lineup was great...
just overall continues to be one of my favorite weekends of the year even though I completely changed the way I personally attacked the weekend...

That was definitely just a one-time, for-staff-only special order. I think Phil and Tarpey opted for neon colors.Sorry to derail the convo a bit, but did everyone notice Phil's neon green tank top?
He said it was a one-time only, but I'm heavily ISO if anyone has any leads.

Good point, this is why when I have kids I am leaving them home when I go visit the gorilla exhibit.
#hopsoutforharambeHarambe would have loved FoFA.

Ah yes, the majestic North East Kingdom gorilla. Originating from lower Canada, this majestic creature survived by snapping maple trees and living off of them for sustenance...His natural habitat.
