If my math if right b5 is the same batch as Cuvee ?

May 2012 Florence into barrels
? 2013 b5 Flora bottled
Sept 2013 b5 Flora released
Sept 2014 Cuvee bottled
Sept 2015 Cuvee released

So if b5 Flora is gold I wonder what Cuvee is gonna be like

I think it's like Ann b2 was with various different years of Flora blended together.

George bottles added this week. no limit. also new altbier being bottled. really loving the production theyre pumping out!
That's interesting. For some reason, i recall that Shaun said specifically he would never brew an altbier or kolsch.

regardless, it is great seeing some new beers being bottled :)

I'm personally surprised so many are so brazen as to post those pre-trades. Just seems to me Shaun is really passionate about making an arguably fair and wide distribution of Flora Cuvee and Ann in some part due to his pride in these beers. As such, I can't imagine he loves 'the zenith of flora' immediately turned into a bargaining chip. That paired with his detest for the commoditization of his beers and the secondary market, I can't imagine this is anything short of taboo despite Shaun being cool with beer trading in general.

Similar to trading away ultra covetted club-only beers at certain other breweries, just seems like it might not foster a great relationship with the hand that feeds.

Pretty sure toolbags toolboxes powertools like mbrown44 dgaf, after all, they are iso rare lambic with this weeks latest flavor.

I actually met Mike this weekend at Night of Great Thirst and thought he was a good guy and he and his crew were good company. He was generous enough to pour me some '15 Blåbær, which was very kind of him. Clearly I am not biased at all .

I stand by my surprise about the pre-trades nonetheless. I would reckon a huge percentage of people who won this lottery will only end up with one Cuvee, which was probably to an extent the Shaun's intention. (...obligatory indy is a jerk ...)

That in mind it just seems to me someone provides you with a single beer they are immensely proud of and you say 'yes, now I get to trade this for other beers I am more interested in!' they might not be pleased. ****, I often feel awkward trading away beers that people have sent me that I have already ticked a bunch or have multiples of simply because they might see the post and feel like I am displeased or ungrateful.

eh, i think your viewpoint is just one of many. There are many that believe that once they purchase the beer, it is theirs to do what they want with it. These same individuals probably give zero ***** as to whichever ancestor this beer represents from the Hill family. Not necessarily a wrong viewpoint, just different.

But SRS, I am just communicating that I think Shaun may be displeased as I probably would....not that I think the trading should not happen or that people shouldn't choose what to do with their beer.*

*I don't really think the trading should happen at this time personally, but that is not what I was trying to get across.

I don't care at all cause I didn't enter and lol at $48 for some AWA, no matter how great it is (and I bet this will be great).

I just think it is in bad taste and lame to pre-trade a bottle you had to enter a lottery to obtain but then again I find a lot of beer culture to be beyond stupid.
