The prolegomena was$20. It looked like there was 15 bottles when they opened, not sure if they replenished the supply. There was 1 left after i went through the line at 1:30.
ugh missed it by a day. Keeps upping the price w/ each 'release'. OG=$15, Oct=$17, Today $20...Worth every penny...

Is their anything different from whats on the website on today? My brother should be there soon and is asking me what I want.

That's your first mistake. Spending money on things that aren't fermented. Cheese, Kimchi, Kombucha, Beer and Wine are the only things I spend money on these days.

Pickles!!!!! and cider. and sometimes sauerkraut. and miso. add that to above and yeah, that's pretty much it for me too

Dude. Pickle EVERYTHING.

I literally pickle all of the veggies I grow and pickle half of the eggs my chickens lay. Just awesome. sauerkraut is the bomb and goes great with pickled sausage and hot mustard.

What does it taste like? Looks fantastic. . So glad a friend got me a couple.

Reminiscent of Flora (which I love and am now drinking side by side). Also somewhat reminiscent of CD6.

Beautifully tart. All the wonderful wine barrel notes that you'd expect from any HF barrel aged saison. Also picking up on some light cider-esque tones. Gentle hints of gourd/earthy goodness throughout. Overall outstanding beer--fans of Flora won't be disappointed.

Easily my favorite usage of pumpkin in a beer. But for the record, I'm not really a fan of any pumpkin beers aside from Ghoulschip.

Heading up tomorrow to grab a metric ton worth of beers to drive to Chicago!

4 Elaborative
9 HFS Growlers
3 Everett
2 of Soigne and 2 of Arthur (if available)

Maybe just maybe I'll get lucky and BoT or Port Damon will be one. crossing my fingers

There's a tweet about "special bottles" being available Wednesday, but no comments about Tuesday..

Twenty-Eight-Bottles. Most rare HFS beer EVAR!

but honestly, an '04 stout under 10% I can't imagine it tastes good now. However, yeah just for posterity, it would be nice to have one. They found this in the walls of the brewery (empty) and I was there that day and snapped a photo.

Yeah, I like that it's on display now. Pretty cool!

So, Mimosa was the "special" beer today? Atleast according to some dude on BA
