High efficiency with Maris Otter?

Anyone else get their highest efficiencies when using Maris Otter as a base malt?

I normally get 78% - 81% efficiency into the fermenter, but have been getting 84% - 87% with large MO grain bills lately.

I use Maris Otter and have great luck hitting my target alcohol. I use it primarily for my scottish ale. I am of your opine

Not all Marris Otter is created equal, but I typically get exceptionally high yields from M.O. and find that it is low in protein while being well modified. I use it in almost any English or American style ale (less often in Scottish ales).

I find that the efficiency is 75% with Maris Otter and brew in a bag method. It is only 70% with American 2-row. All other things are the same. Maris Otter is a great malt!

I too see slightly higher efficiency with MO. I've attributed it to the fact that my MO sparges are always fast flowing and trouble free.
