I don't drink that much either. I enjoy the experimenting more than anything. Can't argue with you anything is better than canned alcholol. Although it is hard to beat draft.

If you don't drink a lot of beer but like to experiment, consider doing 1-gallon batches. There is a huge thread here devoted to 1-gallon brewing.

Hi Sophie, and welcome. I do small (2.5-3 gallon) BIAB batches and tend to give some of it away, as I am not over indulging either. Still I presently have a few cases of brew waiting to be enjoyed. Welcome again.

I like a lot of beer styles but lean toward the malt forward styles. I enjoy learning about the science of beer and try to apply it to improving my beers. I build some of the brewing equipment myself and seem to spend more time on it than actually brewing.
