Hello all,
I'm Rob. I've dabbled in homebrewing a little bit over the past 10 years, have just recently decided to really focus on it and try to get it right. I don't have anything close to the background apparently needed to understand the technical segments of the beginner books so the forums here really help, which I truly appreciate. I hope someday to be able to help others in the same way, communities such as this are one of the very few things I like about the internet.

If anyone in or near Orange County is doing an all grain brew session in the next month or two and doesn't mind, I'd love to watch, learn, and help as I can. I'm having a hard time figuring it out just from reading, I learn better by watching.

If you would have posted a week ago, I would have invited you over! My system will be down for a month now while I'm putting together a new single tier brew stand. As soon as I've got the stand back together, I'll be doing another batch though, so I'll try to post back here for you.

Rob, I may be brewing this Sunday if you're interested in checking it out. I just switched over to a new brew stand (haven't added all the automation yet), and I'm looking to do a brew on it. I won't know for sure though until Saturday as I have to do some tests on the new burners and all to make sure everything will work as planned.
