Hello boys and girls

Just saying hello. Total newbie brewer but long time beer snob:) . I just ordered my first kit which I had to buy from Hoptech in USA as I couldn't find a decent kit anywhere in europe :( . Anyway I plan on learning all I can and who knows that dream of a brewbar of my own may yet come true.:ban:

Welcome.

I 'll be visiting your country in a few days.

There's one other HBer from Dublin (kenmc) but I understand he's on a world tour and is currently in NZ.

I know that there are others on your side of the pond that are brewing. I'm sure they'll chime in.

Great
I felt kinda lonely with all you folks from Utah, Maine, Wyoming etc. If your in Dublin check out The Porterhouse. Its the only independent brewpub around, but its a good one. Enjoy your stay and thanks for the reply.

Thanks for the tip on the Porterhouse. The 4X Stout was outstanding. It was as hoppy as an IPA with all of the roasted grainy goodness.

I also enjoyed the Oyster stout. The brine in it made me thirsty for more beer.

A little crazy on a Saturday night, but where isn't that the case?

I also liked their philosophy in that they serve their beers as well as other brands.

Nice.
