Getting ready to start! Thinking about getting the Coopers Micro brew kit. Saw many good reviews on the net. Anyone else tried this one? Any tips would be great. My main concern would be keeping the temp right. Have heard about blankets and heating trays.

At this time of year I would worry more about getting too warm, even in Oregon. You want to ferment it in the low 70s. Anyway, welcome to the community. If you are in Portland go and buy some of my sister's chocolate at Alma's Chocolate. Buy a chocolate Budda and tell her hello for me.
