New to the whole beer brewing!
Getting a Coopers starter kit next week from Santa!! LoL
So looking a few beginners tips before I get stuck in next week.

Happy Holidays

Hey welcome, I only joined recently too, I started the coopers original lager that comes with the kit last week so im real excited to try it in a few weeks, Im already planning my next beer :p, my only advice that I didnt know was as simple as not letting sun light on the beer, I didnt know this and thought I 'skunked' my beer but I dont think I did, so hope you have fun with your kit and make some nice beer.

Hi All,

Also new to the forum and somewhat new to brewing at home. I have assisted on and watch a few home brews with my friends and finally got the motivation to start my own production. I am thinking of going right for an all grain setup since I have watched three of my friends start on extract brewing only to quickly move into AG and have to make additional investments shortly after their initial one. Since I'm confident I want to be in this for the long haul do you think this is a wise idea? Any suggestions about what capacity I should begin with if I have never completed a brew start to finish but want some room to grow?
