Hey there from San Marcos, California

Hey all!

Just started browsing the forums today thought I'd register and Introduce myself.

I'm currently a senior in college trying to get my toes wet in the home-brew world. I'm fortunate to live in North County San Diego where we have Stone Brewery, Ballast Point, Lost Abbey and Mother Earth to name a few.

Anyone have any suggestions on first starting? Kits, types of ingredients, recipes, and more importantly how to turn my unused mini fridge into a keggerator?
