long time drinker/watcher first time brewer...


I've watched many videos and been around people brewing beer, i also drink lots of varieties of craft beers.
i have ideas, mainly just some fruits/herbs/grains i really would like to try... also, i have a concept along with an intent to try and get somewhere with this...

hopefully its not hard to reach with many brewery's around as i've read and heard from many people...

all there is now is just to dive in and brew/test/experiment!

so i'm here to get advice when i need and chat it up!

Lewandowski46 hey hey! Im in central phoenix area.
My set up is nothing fancy right now... A couple of them Mr beer 2 gal things. And a carboy.
Going to brew a brewers best (grapefruit IPA) first to see how this equipment will do... Because i dont want to make bigger batches till I get a good beer flavor going... Although playing with flavors and grains is what I'll be doing at first. Till I get a good flavor profile going.. Then I'll invest in bigger better equipment.

Ive got timing and temp and everything else down because I've worked in kitchens for about 10 years.. I know freshness, procedures, timing and waiting is everything, which also is needed for kitchens. Sooooooo I will be frequenting here very often haha
