Hey from North Hollywood, CA

Hey Guys!
I've only brewed once (up in Seattle) but I'm putting together my first brew kit for down in LA. I think I'm going to be going to be going with Better Bottles. The only time I've brewed I used glass, and the weight made it difficult to do on my own.

Any newbie advice?

good choice on the BB, glass carboys will last several life times, but are heavy and can be difficult. but this topic is very well documented on the Equipment Forums.

I live in Encino, but work in North Hollywood, at the corner of Lankershim and Magnolia. Let me know if you need any advice or help finding local brewing resources. (ingredients, equipment, Co2, etc.)

If you have not checked out the LBHS in Woodland Hills, I recommend it.

I joined the Maltose Falcons to get the 10% discount. I need to go to their brewday meeting this Sunday, but not sure I have time.
