Hey gents (ladies too!),

After much reading on here for a while without posting anything, I figured I'd say hey! My name's Matt, and I work at a great little brewery in Ypsilanti, MI called Arbor Brewing Company, and I'm an avid home brewer when I'm not at work. Looking forward to continuing to learn as much as I can from here, and chiming in occasionally with things I've learned working on the commercial side of things! :mug: Cheers!

Make sure to shoot me a PM when you're headed up here and I'll make sure to get you a tour and we'll grab a beer!

Nice welcome I live near lansing. Arbor brewing puts out some nice stuff, must be fun to work there enjoy the boards lots of great info here.

My name is Scott and I just joined today. I have only brewed a handful of times but I am definitely interested in learning all I can. Matt, Ypsi is a great beer town and I often enjoy Arbor Brewing and want to try your (Nothing but) Sours on tap next time I visit.

I have created a wiki to learn all I can about Home Brewing. If you get a chance and want to share your knowledge please feel free to contribute here: wikispaces.com/join/J7PMCPM

I went to school in Ann Arbor and learned a lot about good beer from heading to Arbor Brewing (along with Ashley's and many other fine establishments in town). My wife is from Chelsea so I make it up that way pretty often.

I certainly miss the quality and variety of great beer that is made in Michigan and am sometimes tempted to move back that way just for that (and family of course).

I will have to plan a trip to the brewery next time I am up there. The thought never crossed my mind but it seems like a place that is worth a visit!

Hey Scott, unfortunately that sour is only at our brewpub in Ann Arbor, not the larger commercial brewery, so I'm never had the chance to have that one. :( We've got a pretty solid sour program. I don't work too much with those though. My favorite is our raspberry strawberry belgian sour called Framboozled.
