Just to let everyone know that I am here and am a new HB'er. Got a gallon of Caribou Slobber in fermentation now. Looking forward to doing more brews once this is done.

And welcome. Is this your first brew ever and did you use the kit from Northern Brewer or just brew a gallon instead of 5 gallons?
 
I am using the gallon kit from Northern Brewer, only a gallon as I'm not sure that this is for me. Having said that. I am looking at getting the dark porter kit next. Starting small and slow. As far as location, I'm over by RTP.
