At the house I've got a 10lb bag of maris for a base, plus I have about 12 oz each of carahell, breiss victory, dark munich, crisp crystal, flaked oats.. I think I have .6oz of whole cascades, .7-.8oz of whole centennial, .4oz of ukfuggle pellets, there's another 1oz pellet bag of mt. hood .... the only yeast I have are packs at the house, dry yeast... safale s-33, and t-58... any recipe ideas... >? would appreciate it.

Hmmm just a simple blonde maybe? Honestly, I would do a SMaSH with just the 10 lbs of MO but your hops are lacking. 1 oz seems like not quite enough…or is it? I would so Mt. Hood and MO and call it Mt. MO…SMaSH.

Maybe that is too boring for you but the grain you have is all pretty light, right?

A belgian-y pale with the Mt Hood hops. They should have a hallertau'ness that you could use for flavor and bitter.

Shoot for 1.050-1.060
About 30 IBU

~6 lbs maris
As much Munich as you have (up to 1lb)
As much Victory as you have (up to 1lb)
6.0 oz Crystal
1.5 lbs Sugar

Any bittering hop - 90 minute
1.0 oz Mt Hood - 15 minutes

If you can, add any of these from the grocery store
1 to 2 oranges zested, add at end of boil
0.5 oz (14 g) | Coriander, crushed
1 whole star anise, or 0.5 tsp (2 g) grains of paradise, or your secret spice of choice

Use the t-58 fairly warm

for both of those responses guys.... I truly appreciate them.

That sounds amazing. :mug:

I was going to recommend a Belgian, too, but make mine a Blonde:

Maris Otter & Carahell & sugar (about 20%) to ~1.060

Bitter to ~25 IBU, finish with the Mt Hood, ferment warm with T-58.

Nice and light and quaffable.
