Help!!! Wrong hops

I am in the middle of a brew of pilsner using just SAAZ hops. First thing is i need more than 100 g and only have 100 grams, and receipe says use SAAZ 3.2 AA, but i have 4.5.

Additions are at

100 g at 60min
25 g at 15min
25 g at 3 min

What is the difference between 3.2 and 4.5

seriously though, you should plug your recipe into a calculator like beersmith or brewersfriend.com & see what the difference is.

Use the ratio of the bitterness to determine your additions. You may be a bit light on hops but not much. It will help if you have a gram scale.

Ok, so i plugged it into a bitterness calculator and this is what i got.

I am going to put

50g SAAZ 4.5 at 60 min
25g SAAZ 4.5 at 15 min
25g SAAZ at 3 min
ibu - 45.25

instead of

100 g SAAZ 3.2 at 60 min
25g SAAZ 3.2 at 15 min
25g SAAZ 3.2 at 10 min
ibu 45.5

Is that right. Does that sound like a decent solution to my newbie error

Your plan looks fine - moving the small 10 min additon to 3 min will not really change the beer much. You might find recipes though where changing the timing of the additions will alter the result. What I typically do when adjusting a recipe for different AA% is leave all the late additions the same oz per oz - so plug those into the software first - then just adjust the 60 min addition to hit the correct IBU for the recipe.

Also, you didn't really but the "wrong" hops. AA% changes from year to year or between different growers. You would have a hard time exactly matching the AA of any given recipe, so you pretty much have to adjust each time as above. Or you could just ignore it and assume it's close enough.
