Okay so I got this temperature controller Sub Zero SZ-7569-P (230v) supports up to 20 amp compressor . I got a new LG fridge model GL-Q282SPZL 2 door 255 litre one , that I did not technically understand was this fridge comes with a so called smart inverter compressor . So when I did has the guy who dropped off the fridge , he said the temperature controller cannot be connected to this fridge cause it's an inverter fridge got DC PCB instead and my temperature controller cannot be connected . He said I can use the fridge temperature controller to achieve the temp I want . But I doubt that's true . Iv currently set the temp to min as in warmest have a fermenter with water with temp scale and a thermometer in there to see how low it goes .

I want to know how to get this fridge under control of a temperature controller .

Anyone here can help ? Would be really grateful !

Nope apparently the wiring is different in this fridge compressor is wired to a smart inverter or circuit board of some sort .

Could some one share with me wiring diagram to get this temperature controller to a extension power socket and basically work like on and off fridge based on probe reading . I'm sorry if this is actually how it's supposed to be connected I din knw . I was under the impression that it gets connected to compressor directly ..

Most people wire it up like you are suggesting. I think the most popular thread is the ebay aquarium temp controller build

There is a diagram in the first post.

Edited to add: You'll need to cross reference the outputs on the stc1000 unit to those on your unit. I didn't realize you were working with a completely different unit. Hopefully someone with knowledge of this unit can help you out. But that thread will give you a place to start. The theory should be similar.

Looks like you got an inkbird on the first pic. I have the same controller and it works grate. The only way I have seen this used and the way I use it is wire it up in a project box with a 120/110 in and a 2 plug out let on the box (one for heat and one for cool), then plug the fridge into the box and set the fridge to the coldest settings. Typically the fridge is cooled by the freezer. Then with your temp sensor on or in your brew the inkbird will turn the fridge on or off depending on the desired temp. This is not to be wired in directly to the fridge at least I have not seen it done that way.

Found some thing that works like the inkbird here where I live . . thanks guys, for a second I thought I couldn't use this fridge as a fermentation chamber without tampering with it inside .
