Hi guys I've been lurking around here for a couple months but I finally decided to join and officially become a home brewer! I'll be brewing my second batch in the next couples days and was hoping you guys could share some opinions on my hop schedule I have planned out.
What do you guys think of this hop schedule....
1 oz. centennial at 60 minutes
1 oz. Simcoe at 30 minutes
2.oz. centennial at 10-5 minutes
1 oz. Columbus dry hop 7 days before bottling.
I also have an ounce of Warrior hops if someone thinks they’d be a good addition or replacement. This will only be my second batch and the first time I just followed a recipe so I’m still not sure when the best times to add hops are. This was originally the Dead Ringer IPA kit from Northern Brewer which came with 5 oz. of Centennial hops but I wanted to do something different and ended up buying the other varieties of hops.
Any opinions or input anyone has will be very appreciated!
