Hi,

Im trying to find out what coupler I need for this keg. It’s from our wedding about 5 years ago. We had it at MillStone Cellars in MD that’s no longer open. I’d like to tap it and see if it’s still good.

It sat warm for 5 years? The odds of it being any good is about 0%.
But I'm sure it will go well with the 5 year old wedding cake. :bigmug:

It's hard to tell from the photo of the dirty keg, but it may be a Sanke type S. The way to tell the difference from the Sanke type D is the type D has a ball on the top to seal the keg and the type S has a flat disk which requires a coupler with a longer reach to depress.

After a good cleaning, before you put the tap on it, first sanitize that tap area, thoroughly! You don't want to spoil all the goodness in that keg...

Thanks yeah I’m guessing it might be bad too or like wine and better with age lol.
