I have a digital Ranco Temperature Controller and it seems it has stopped working. I pulled it apart and noticed a wire that is not connected to anything. I pulled up the wiring diagram and can't find a place for the wire. It is a white wire coming from the output that the fridge plugs into. Can someone let me know where the white wire on your controller goes? I have not tested anything yet, I don't want to try and run down a problem that is right in front of my face. Thanks for the help.

I believe it belongs under the terminal marked "Com" along with the blue wire.
Make sure everything is unplugged from the power source while working.

Its hard to tell from your photo.

Is there a wire jumper between the "C" terminal and the "120" terminal?

Yes, it's the only jumper and the only one that is hard to see in the pic. Do you still think the white wires goes in the com terminal?

Yes, I still think the white wire still goes to the "com" terminal.

Just confirming the jumper wire. That sounds right.

I agree, the white neutral wire to the fridge side wants to go back on the C terminal.

I'd also straighten out the strain relief and cinch that sucker down tight so that pull-back doesn't happen again...

Cheers!
