help plz Ascorbic Acid

hi there a wis looking into making a turbo cider and a was looking at store juices and it says 100% apple just with Ascorbic Acid and to tell the truth a dont know what that is so would this juice be ok to use ? cheers anyone how gets back to me

I'm a beer guy, not a cider guy, but I'm pretty sure that's vitamin C. I'd think it would be fine, but like I said, I'm not a cider guy.

It's Vitamin C, used as a preservative/antioxidant. It won't bother the yeast in the least, and may even improve the taste/longevity.

Not sure about it improving the taste or longevity, but at least I can say I am getting the daily recommended dose of Vitamin C when I drink my hard cider.
