I'm currently moving from stovetop to laundry room eBIAB with a 5500W element in a 15.5 gallon kettle. I was planning on just stirring, but then saw how cheap solar pumps are, then how many people had problems, then Midwest sent me a 20% off code so I splurged for a chugger. Now I need to plumb it.

I'm considering the following, so tell me why it's wrong:

Kettle ball valve to hose barb --> hose --> hose barb on pump inlet --> ball valve and hose barb on pump output --> hose --> female camlock on hose end --> male camlock on mash lid for recirc OR male camlock on chiller

Anything wrong with this?

Edit: added ball valve

Looks good. I'm assuming you already have a way to maintain mash temps, such as a controller, as well as a false bottom or basket to keep the bag off the element?
