i had some extra ingredients laying around and was bored so im going to brew an ipa tonight. i came up with a hop schedule but i thought it would be more fun if i let you all decide. i have limited hops but good ones for an ipa. im shooting for about a 1062 starting gravity and am using WL001 cali ale. basic ipa grist. anyways here are the hops....

1 oz columbes
1 oz warrior
1 oz magnum
1 oz centennial
1 oz cascade
2 oz's simcoe

thats a good one but i guess i should have clarified that i will be getting hops in the next week or two so i can use all 7ozs in the boil if i want.

What is your IBU goal? I would bitter with the warrior, do some mid-boil additions with the columbus and simcoe, finish with cascade and simcoe, and dry-hop with centenial and cascade... save the magnum for another battle, but thats just me.

You could, to be different, split the 1 oz packets into 7 equal cups. then toss in 1 cup every 10 minutes and save the last 1 for flame out...It would be similar to making the DFH 90 min but way different hops and more of them I think.

Good luck!
