Help! Is my starter ok?

I was planning to brew an India Brown Ale this evening, so I made a 1.2L starter this morning before I went to work. I used Wyeast 1056. Unfortunately, I forgot to take the pack out of the fridge last night, so I smacked it this morning and added it to my starter before I could see if the pack was going to swell. I came home from work and my starter does not seem to be taking off yet. Can I brew and pitch this starter this evening? Here is a link to a youtube video of the starter.

My starter ended up just fine. I just panicked a little too quickly. I have always seen a krausen on my starters prior to yesterday, so it freaked me out when I came home to no krausen. I pitched my starter last night and my fermenter was bubbling away this morning.
