I never thought that this 'hobby' would become so addictive. I brewed my first batch back in March, and have done 5 since all in various stages of readiness.
I think I'm ready to graduate from all LME (with some steeping grains) to AHS's mini-mash kits and have their Double Chocolate Stout on the way.
I won a decent amount of money over the weekend playing poker, so what's the first thing I do this morning? Oh yes, you all know what's coming... :rockin:
propane burner
wort chiller
bigger kettle
4 more recipe kits (Hefe, honey porter, wee heavy, and Hoegaarden clone)
various misc. pieces, parts, additives and flavorings.
If co2 tanks weren't so dang expensive and I actually had a spare fridge to put cornys in I probably would have picked up a kegging kit to try it out, but my new toys will keep me busy for a while.
I have been assimilated. Resistance is futile. At this rate I'll be doing AG and have 80 kegs by Christmas... lmao
