Ello ladies and gents,

I have a passion for Real Ale, like we do in the UK. Drink it mild / room temp and essentially flat.

So the challenge I have is I'd like to keg the stuff into a mini keg for a bbq. However, I don't want to use Co2 as this will carbonate the brew.

Any idea / recommendations on how I solve this one? Is there another gas to use without a going down the hand pump?

What's a good destination to buy this kit? Just arrive in the USA and live in Portland, Oregon.

Cheers

If it's just a bbq and you are going to drink it all right then, just a little CO2 pressure (<5psi) could be used to push the beer out the tap, and in a few hours at room temp at that pressure I would expect very, very minimal carbonation to take place. If you didn't drink it all right then you could turn off the gas and vent the keg to make sure there is no C02 uptake.

Assuming you already have C02 and this is much easier than going to find a completely separate gas canister.
