I was reinforcing a hinge on my freezer door and srewed in a scre and heard a hiss. Didn;t last very long. DId I hit a coil all the way up at the edg like that? I didn;t think they ran that close to the edge. Are they in zones if I did hit it and that one won't work but the rest will or is it now toast?

damn. When it's pluged in I hear "air" blowing out of the hole......

Damn 90 min IPA......

Often there is a line running around the door open opening which contains hot refrigerant. This is done to prevent the door from freezing closed. The line is a part of the freon circuit and it does appear that the unit is, indeed, toast. I hope I am wrong, but from all indications it sounds like disaster.
