The way I usually do it goes like this:
Would you call it a Single Infusion, Double Batch Sparge??? If so, I can get the brewsheet to come out with those steps. It always add an extra 2-3gals of sparge water. Any help would be appreciative. Thanks guys.
- Strike 5.00 for a temp of 150F. Let it sit for 60min.
- Add 2.00 Gal at 209F. Let it sit for 15 min.
- Drain to brew kettle.
- Add 6.00 Gal at 170F. Let sit for 15 min.
- Drain to Brew Kettle, and begin boil.
