Hello all.

I've just subscribed to this forum; I'm new to home brewing so expect plenty of those irritating questions you've answered a thousand times before. I have my second ever batch of kit red wine on the bubble at the moment and my third batch of beer (Coopers stout) - the first two were made about fourteen years ago and both failed.

My first batch of red wine lasted about two weeks and was surprisingly good.

I've started brewing because I'm no longer prepared to fork over money I cannot afford for the rubbish available in the cheap shops. Even if my stuff is no better it's a great deal cheaper, and the government doesn't take a cut.
