Hi y'all!

I'm in the US Army and have been stationed in Germany since 2001. I tried the German beer, liked it and started brewing it! I love the hefe weizens and the dark ales.

I've been doing extract brewing since 2001 (minus a year in Iraq) and now I'm ready to move to all grain brewing.:rockin: I'll let y'all know how it turns out.

Welcome and thanks for what you do. There are a few other brewers here from Germany. I know at least one (seefresh) is doing all grain. Best of luck and don't forget to swirl the yeast.
 
Welcome. I was stationed in Germany myself, way back when. That's also where I learned to love and appreciate beer (and currywurst and jagerschnitzel). Once you have good beer available, it's hard to back to the "regular" stuff, that's for sure!

HI Rudy, figure I'd give a public welcome. I'm in Baumholder, Germany and I'm brewing like crazy over here. I've made an AG hefeweizen that was excellent and I will brewing my first dunkel weizen next week. I also grew the taste for the weizens over here. MAN they are good. I love how they come in pint size bottles over here too, which I reuse over and over.
