Hello there. I've been brewing beer kits for a while, big fan of dark, real ales. Would really like to have a bash at making some mead, so if anyone has any good suggestions....

Real ales, oh yes! We have a chapter of SPBW in this area, and a homebrewers real ale 'festival' with 20+ offerings each year, beer engines and all. It lives!

We have an excellent mead forum with dedicated mead makers, as well as a mead section in our recipes forum. Look around there to get some inspiration. Asking is free too.
